How Does This Work?

• I (Marie) get multiple requests per day, along with a lot of spam. It's hard to get through all the spam and read and file all requests. I do review them all, but I don't use out of town bands at this time unless they are big, can ensure a good draw and will take our current doorsplit deal. If you're a local band I will review and file it. If it stands out I will put it on my 'pile' to book soon.
• How do you make it 'stand out'? Show me you can draw. Show me you want to play and will work to play here. I get a LOT of bands who assume we have a built in draw and they just need to show up and play. NOT TRUE. If you don't promote people don't show up. If people don't show up for you (we keep track at the door) We wont book your band again.
• You do not do this by lying on your 'how many kids can you draw' question, that needs to be honest. Explain your willingness to work for it in the 'extra message' section.
